2009 Virginia Silver Gloves State Championships
The Virginia Silver Gloves will be held December 5 & 6, 2009, at Cobra Boxing Club, 1365 Overbrook Road, Richmond, Virginia 23220. Coaches, please try to pre-register by Tuesday, December 1st via fax at 804 646-8253 or mail (to arrive no later than Tuesday, December 1, to Attn: Jerry Royster, Cobra Boxing Club, 1742 Gross Avenue, Richmond, VA 23224-6408 to help ease process! $5.00 entry fee must be included for each participating boxer. Weigh-in/Physical: Saturday, December 5, 2009, weigh-in at 1365 Overbrook Road, Richmond, Virginia 10 a.m. to Noon. Physicals 2:00 p.m. Bouts start at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2009, weight-in 10 a.m. to Noon. Physicals 1 p.m. Bouts start at 4:00 p.m. Please contact Jerry Royster at 804 937-2612 for more information or to obtain copy of Silver Gloves Association Boxer’s Official Entry Form, etc. General Admission fee for the show is $7.00. Silver Gloves Regional Championships Virginia Silver Gloves champions ages 10-15 as of January 1, 2010 (male and female) may advance to the SE Coast Silver Gloves Region III Championships beginning Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in Wilmington, NC. Regional winners will advance to the National Silver Gloves Championships in Independence, Missouri on February 3-7, 2010.
